Fireplace Cleaning in Pasadena, CA

What goes into a fireplace cleaning visit in Pasadena

EverSafe serves Pasadena neighborhoods from Linda Vista and the Arroyo Seco to Bungalow Heaven and the streets near Eaton Canyon. The safety questions change with the fireplace. An older brick chimney needs its liner, mortar and crown checked, because clay tiles crack after years of heating and cooling. A converted gas log set needs a damper clamp and a clear flue. A factory-built firebox needs its metal chimney sections and cap inspected for rust and gaps. Every visit includes a draft test, and gas units get a carbon monoxide reading. The written report lists what is sound, what needs work, and what should not be used yet.

North Pasadena streets near the mountains share Altadena's ember exposure when Santa Ana winds blow, and parts of the city sat close to the January 2025 Eaton Fire. Farther south, the bigger stress on a chimney is dry summer heat on mortar and crowns. We check the spark arrestor screen on every roof and look for hairline crown cracks before winter rain can find them.
