La Canada Flintridge chimneys and why the calls come in
In La Canada Flintridge, EverSafe plans roof access before the visit, because a tall chimney on a sloped lot needs safe footing for a full inspection. Once on the roof, we check the cap and spark arrestor screen, the crown, and the flashing where the stack meets the roof. Inside, a camera shows the flue liner from top to bottom. When a home has more than one flue, each one gets its own entry in the written report, so a gas fireplace flue and a wood-burning flue are never lumped together. Draft and carbon monoxide checks are part of every gas fireplace visit here. That history is part of every fireplace inspection visit we run here, down to what gets loaded on the truck and what we flag for follow-up.
